welcome

From September 2028, our first Year 10 cohort will embark on a rigorous IGCSE curriculum, transitioning into the world-renowned IB Diploma Programme for Sixth Form.

With the support of our academic leadership team, pupils will curate a subject profile that aligns with their ambitions for the world’s leading universities. Our Senior School curriculum will ensure academic excellence is matched by dedicated time for the subjects studied, physical education, and personal development, preparing pupils for a life of purpose and global opportunity.

Our vision is to have  each pupil achieve their very best. Our approach reflects our values, which encourages enquiry, independence, and a genuine engagement with the world beyond the classroom.

Expert teaching and small class sizes will ensure that pupils are both challenged and supported. Teachers guide pupils to think critically, question deeply, and make meaningful connections across their learning.

Alongside academic development, we place great importance on character. Integrity, responsibility, and kindness underpin everything we do, shaping pupils into thoughtful, principled, and internationally minded young people.

Life in the Senior School is designed to be as challenging as it is inspiring. Pupils will engage with a broad, balanced curriculum that cultivates the research, analysis, and independent study skills essential for success in the IB Diploma and beyond.

Learning at Brighton College Madrid will extend well past the academic timetable. Through a rich co-curricular programme, leadership roles, and community service, pupils will be  encouraged to take ownership of their development and contribute meaningfully to the College community.

The vibrant cultural and historical setting of Madrid provides a unique backdrop for learning. We will be encouraging our pupils to think globally, balancing a respect for heritage and tradition with a sophisticated understanding of contemporary society.

Supported by expert academic mentoring and pastoral care, our pupils will be seamlessly prepared for the transition to the IB Diploma Programme. By the end of Year 11, they will emerge as confident, capable individuals ready to embrace the opportunities of a global future.
